New Scorcese thriller set in the 1950s that stars Leonardo DiCaprio, takes place on an island full of the criminally insane, and is more than likely going to be ridiculously good. It hits theaters in October:
Fully expecting this to be Fantastic Four level material, but the eternal optimist in me is holding out hope until I witness this probable train wreck in person:
The critical response to Salvation thus far has been lukewarm at best (which should always be taken with a grain of salt anyway), but I'm withholding judgement until I actually go see it: The action scenes in this new trailer look awesome, Christian Bale is the man, and it's a friggin' Terminator movie. That being said, the director actually goes by "McG", so I'm pretty much ready for anything at this point:
I've never really cared at all about the whole Woodstock thing, but this looks really interesting:
Usual Judd Apatow crew, plus Adam Sandler and Jason Schwartzman. The last movie Sanberg played a semi-solemn role in (Punch Drunk Love) was the bomb; this should be interesting:
Any opportunity to see Zach Galifianakis and/or Ed Helms in action is a definite positive. Also, Mike Tyson miming the big drum fill from "In the Air Tonight" is probably one of the greatest things I've ever seen. The Hangover hits theaters June 5:
Inglorious Basterds is a WWII flick from Quentin Tarantino, starring a cast that includes Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, BJ Novak, and Mike Myers. It hits theaters 8/21. Wow:
From Mike Judge (Office Space), starring Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) and that girl that plays the "One-Upper" on SNL:
Definitely liking Zachary Quinto as Spock; we'll see about this guy they've got playing Captain Kirk:
Supposedly, we're gonna get more robots and less people this time. Let's hope that isn't just a rumor.
